WHO WE PLACE
Who we place.
We search exclusively for high-level assistant profiles. Here is how we see each role, and why the distinction matters.
Four roles. Four different realities.
The market files them all under “assistant”. The people who do these jobs don’t — and neither do we. Executive Assistant, Personal Assistant, Chief of Staff and Office Manager are different searches: different candidates, different expectations, different words on a CV. Getting the vocabulary right is the first step of getting the match right.
Executive Assistant
Strategic proximity to a leader. Board materials, executive committee minutes, high-stakes scheduling, gatekeeping, and the ability to anticipate a need before it is voiced. Often the eyes and ears of a chairman or CEO — present in every room that matters, visible in none.
Personal Assistant
Where the professional and the personal overlap. Household staff, family logistics, private events, art purchases, travel down to the seat preference. The most intimate form of the role — and the one where discretion is absolute.
Chief of Staff
Closer to a deputy than an assistant. Manages a team of assistants, shapes the leader’s priorities, represents them in select forums and stands in when needed. A distinct career, not a senior version of the others.
Office Manager
The operational backbone of a team or office — procurement, facilities, onboarding, budgets. Essential, but without the executive proximity of the roles above. A different search entirely.
Every introduction is made personally.
Whether you are hiring or considering a move — the first conversation is confidential and without obligation.
